My name is Julie and I am retired. So this gives me plenty of time to read and talk about books. I am a former television producer, editor and camerawoman. I like reading historical fiction, award winning books and I try to live and feel the characters as the writer develops his story.

Hello Fellow Readers!


This is Cheryl from Houston, Texas. My husband and I manage a local farmers market.


My favorite genres are:


▪︎ Historical fiction

▪︎ Psychological thrillers

▪︎ Contemporary fiction


Right now I am halfway through a fabulous debut novel by Adele Myers called The Tobacco Wives. Finding myself gliding through this read.


Secondly, I am listening to Zero Days by Ruth Ware. Having read everything she has published I am so excited with her latest. It certainly has a different feel than all her other novels. This audiobook has drawn me in as I feel like I am right in the mix of things trying to outrun the police with Jack (a female) the protagonist. It has …
